Rosidal K Washing Instructions

You can hand wash or machine wash the Rosidal K lymphedema bandages, and you should wash them on a regular basis (daily, if you are using lotions or creams). When machine washing the Rosidal K bandages, place them in a mesh laundry bag and wash them on the gentle cycle. After washing, hang the bandages or lay them flat to air dry – don’t put them in the dryer. Before you air dry the Rosidal K lymphedema bandages, don’t excessively squeeze them or wring them out, or you could damage the elasticity of the bandage.

If you have more than one set of Rosidal K lymphedema bandages, you can wear one and wash the other one, then allow it to dry and recover its elasticity before you wear it again.

When To Replace A Rosidal K Lymphedema Bandage

You will need to replace a Rosidal K lymphedema bandage when it loses its elasticity. Without the proper elasticity, the short stretch compression bandage won’t be able to provide the right degree of compression. When the bandage loses its stiffness and starts to recoil, it is time to buy a new Rosidal K lymphedema bandage.

  • Are Rosidal K Short Stretch Bandages Reusable

  • How Do You Care For Rosidal K Short Stretch Bandages
  • To ensure the longevity and continued effectiveness of Rosidal K short stretch bandages, hand wash them (in lukewarm water using mild soap) and air dry them (away from radiators and sunlight) or tumble dry on a low-heat setting.

  • What Is The Difference Between Short Stretch Compression Bandages And Long Stretch Compression Bandages
  • The main difference between short stretch and medium or long stretch compression bandages lies in their elasticity and the type of pressure that they apply.

The Rosidal K short stretch compression bandage has limited elasticity (around 30-70% stretch) and provides more rigid support. Rosidal K bandages provide a higher working pressure (when your muscles are active) and low resting pressure (when your body is at rest).

A long stretch compression bandage, on the other hand, has higher elasticity (up to 200% stretch or more). Long stretch bandages provide lower working pressure and higher resting pressure and are often used for conditions or injuries that require constant compression. Generally, long stretch compression bandages are not as comfortable for long-term use and are not used at night.

  • Who Makes Rosidal K Short Stretch Bandages
  • Rosidal K short stretch bandages are manufactured by Lohmann & Rauscher (L&R), a global company that is known for its high-quality compression products.
